The Design Behind Sublime

Concept:  The concept behind Sublime was to redesign a product that would better connect to users through metaphors.  The product redesigned was an air purifier.

Metaphors:  Curly maple was used to give off a comforting feeling and bring some richness to the space.   Cool blue light gives the user the effect of a refreshing atmosphere as the purifier cleans the air.  Slats cut into the top form release the refreshing scent of cedar that gives the sense of being in a forest and wards off any potential bugs or critters.
